E.U.C Costa Ballena Chipiona forms part of a larger tourism initiative first outlined in 1985 to develop a high-quality coastal resort between the towns of Rota and Chipiona, in Andalusia. The Chipiona section was completed in 2014 and features spacious residential plots, a four-star hotel, and extensive green areas designed for relaxation and outdoor activities. Visitors and residents can enjoy long cycle paths, a petanque area, ping-pong tables, a skate rink, basketball courts, beach football, and a disc-golf course. Multiple children’s play areas round off the family-friendly facilities.
Overseeing the upkeep and security of this modern urbanisation is the Costa Ballena-Chipiona Urban Conservation Entity (EUC). Working closely with Chipiona’s Town Council, the EUC coordinates maintenance and improvements that uphold the area’s high standards, both for property owners and for guests. Their proactive approach ensures minimal noise during early morning hours and rapid, efficient management of public spaces.
