Construction Begins on New Recycling Facility in Costa Ballena, Chipiona
Construction has officially begun on a new recycling center in Costa Ballena, set to improve waste management for local residents and the surrounding area. The facility will be located at Calle Wagner, next to EUC Costa Ballena Chipiuona, and is expected to be completed within a few months.
This project is part of a larger regional plan to build modern recycling centers across Andalusia, aimed at making it easier for communities to separate and dispose of waste responsibly. The initiative is backed by regional and European funding and forms part of Andalusia’s efforts to promote more sustainable living and a circular economy.
Once finished, the new center will offer residents of Costa Ballena a convenient and environmentally friendly way to dispose of household waste, helping to reduce environmental impact and support local sustainability goals. The center is being built with eco-conscious materials and will serve as a dedicated space for the community to sort and recycle items properly.
This new facility marks an important step forward for Costa Ballena in improving public services and aligning with broader environmental targets set for the region. Another recycling center is also planned elsewhere in the municipality, ensuring better coverage and accessibility for everyone.
