With a driving range that spans 345 metres in width and 350 metres in length, it can accommodate up to 120 players simultaneously while offering spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean. Unlike many other facilities, the range features all-natural grass tees, eliminating the need for practice mats and providing a more authentic golfing experience.
The short game areas are equally impressive. Golfers can hone their skills on an expansive putting green with carefully crafted undulations, two large chipping and pitching greens with varying slopes for practising any shot imaginable, and several practice bunkers strategically placed around the greens to simulate real course conditions.

The academy is led by Enrique Soto Bosch, a highly qualified PGA Professional accredited by the Royal Spanish Golf Federation and the PGA of Great Britain & Ireland. With international experience at prestigious clubs in the USA, Ireland, and Spain, Enrique brings a wealth of knowledge to Costa Ballena.
Since joining the academy in 2017, Enrique has played a pivotal role in creating a year-round junior programme and launching the successful “First Tee” initiative, designed to introduce beginners to the game. He has further enhanced the academy’s offerings with the addition of the Performance Golf Centre, which provides custom fitting, equipment repairs, and lessons supported by the latest technology.
