Arrozante sits within the Barceló Costa Ballena hotel, overlooking the golf course, and has a more composed feel than most places in the area. It’s somewhere you go with a bit more intention, rather than just dropping in after the beach.
As the name suggests, rice is the main event — arroz negro, caldoso, and seafood paella — all prepared with attention to detail and served at a slower, more deliberate pace. Starters like croquetas and fried fish round things out, but the rice is what people come for.
Best at lunchtime, when you can take advantage of the terrace and let the meal unfold without rushing. Less informal than nearby spots, but still relaxed enough to enjoy it without overthinking it.
